Shoreline Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm based in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL today announced the promotions of Ian Garland and Zach Mittelmark to the position of Principal.

Ian Garland was promoted from Vice President to Principal.  Ian focuses on middle market investments based in the Southeast and currently serves on the Board of Mr. Greens, Pavement Partners, and Career Now Brands.  Prior to Shoreline, Ian was a senior associate with PNC Riverarch Capital, a middle market private equity firm. Before joining PNC Riverarch Capital, Ian was an investment banking analyst at Raymond James working on various transactions in the communication and technology-enabled services industries. Ian holds a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the University of Florida, a M.S. in Finance from the University of Tampa, and is a CFA charterholder.

Zach Mittelmark was promoted from Vice President to Principal. Zach focuses on middle market investments based in the Southeast and currently serves on the Board of Mr. Greens, Engelman’s Bakery, and Pool Troopers.  Prior to Shoreline, Zach was a senior associate with PNC Riverarch Capital, a middle market private equity firm. Before joining PNC Riverarch Capital, Zach was an associate with Hancock Capital Management, a private equity group operating within Manulife Financial Corporation. Zach holds a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Babson College, where he graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors.
